As proficient researchers, they must be able to create succinct informative presentations. Positions in this career can range in status from low to high profile. Lobbyists often devote large amounts of time and energy to one specific cause. Long hours, fundraising, demonstrations and other similar activities are common. Many Lobbyists enter this career with sincere dedication and passion for affecting change. Successful Lobbyists have excellent networking skills allowing them to communicate effectively with persons from all societal levels.
