Foton AUV Bus Made Export Record
On 21, April, the Ministry of Communications of Thailand signed the bus purchased agreement with Beiqi Foton AUV Bus Company. The total export number of this export agreement up to 3000 units, including 1000 AUV CNG 8m city buses and 2000 CNG 12m city buses. The figure also made an export record in China bus export history.
According to the report that, in recently years, Thailand government to improve its capital's atmospheric enviroment and enhances the level of municipal facilities to meets public citizen's demand, the government made a 3000 CNG city buses purchasement and related service support system with the total prices of the purchasement reached to 2 billion RMB. In order to carry out this big project, Thailand government set up the purchasement committee for this special project, after repeated comparison, the committee eventually lock in China--the rising bus power.
At present, China has become the world's biggest bus production basement. China bus has no difference on the appearance compared with the advanced technology, and the labour advantages achievements the competitiveness of China bus.

2005 the purchasement committee of Thailand came to China and to investigate China bus manufacturers. The rapid development of Foton AUV Bus Company has aroused great interest in Thailand government.
According to the introduction of Thailand government, the ultimately reason for the signature not only the high quality of AUV bus, but also because of the industry leading position of its parent company Foton Auto.

ครม.อนุมัติแยกโครงการรถไฟฟ้า 3 เส้นทาง มาดำเนินการได้

นายแพทย์สุรพงษ์ สืบวงศ์ลี โฆษกประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี กล่าวว่า ที่ประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรีวันนี้อนุมัติให้ดำเนินโครงการรถไฟฟ้า 3 เส้นทาง โดยแยกออกจากโครงการเมกะโปรเจกต์ระบบราง ตามที่กระทรวงคมนาคมเสนอมา
นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรียังอนุมัติให้องค์การขนส่งมวลชนกรุงเทพ หรือ ขสมก. ดำเนินโครงการจัดซื้อรถโดยสารปรับอากาศที่ใช้ก๊าซเอ็นจีวีเป็นเชื้อเพลิงจำนวน 2,000 คัน
